You are invited to facilitate analytical reflection and assessment of progress made in the field of youth and adult education in our countries, within the framework of the general review of the V International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA V) and more concretely, the commitments signed there by governments six years ago. The questions listed in this guide are directed to civil society organizations who are recognized for their experience and work in this field of education. We hope to develop an overall assessment of the situation in each country grounded in objective data, although we do not pretend to collect statistical or numerical data. This assessment process is being organized as just one of many regional assessment efforts to review progress made since CONFINTEA V on an international level and ANCEFA will coordinate the process of the mid-term review in the Africa region. The goal of this guide: To develop an overall assessment of policies and processes in favor of youth and adult education in Latin America within the framework of the international review of CONFINTEA V agreements. The focus of this regional assessment: a) national governments and their educational policies |
KEY QUESTIONS: Respondents should reply to each of the five sections here below providing an overall appraisal on each section, thus helping us to develop a more global subregional and regional assessment.
