and sensitization in favour of inter-cultural dialogue and culture of
peace have no objectives other than to promote the knowledge of the other
and mutual understanding between populations and peoples. It is undoubtedly
because one knows the other better that he or she can better understand
his or her manner of dressing, eating, reasoning…
Knowledge or even recognition, the acceptance of the other as he is in
his being, is obviously a first step in the direction of dialogue and
tolerance.
