In
order to guarantee an effective follow-up
of this recommendation, it is necessary to
hold detailed information on the types of
women who could be involved in these activities,
from the point of view of relevant qualifications,
area of expertise and professional experience.
The
BREDA envisaged the creation of a database
on African women that hold a postgraduate
degree, starting with those who have post-university
diplomas. The database will cover all five
main sections of higher education, namely:
Education, Law and Humanities, Science and
Technology, Arts and Medicine.
